A February report from WalletHub ranked the happiest cities in America for2024 To rank the cities, the report took a look at more than 180 of the biggest U.S. cities and analyzed them throughout 3 essential measurements:

  1. Emotional and physical wellness
  2. Income and work
  3. Community and environment

The 3 classifications were assessed utilizing 29 metrics graded on a 100- point scale, with a rating of 100 representing optimum joy. Some classifications consist of a life-satisfaction index, life span, task fulfillment, income-growth rate, and a wellness “community” index rating.

While Florida is home to Disney World, frequently described as the happiest on Earth, the Sunshine State didn’t have any city rank in the top 10.

Fremont lies in the East Bay area of the Bay Area and has a significant tech market population since of its distance to Silicon Valley and San Francisco.

The city has the greatest share of families with an earnings above $75,000, at almost 80%, the WalletHub report states.

Another contributing element is that Fremont has the nation’s least expensive separation and divorce rate, at just 8.9%.

Overland Park, Kansas, is the second-happiest city in the U.S., up from theNo 4 area in 2023.

It had an overall rating of 69.78 and ranked 6th in psychological and physical wellness, 36 th in earnings and work, and 6th in neighborhood and environment.

Overland Park has the most affordable hardship rate in the nation at 4.2% and among the most affordable joblessness rates at 3%. Residents in the Kansas city get more sleep than individuals in many other cities, according to the report.

Overland Park is the second-largest city in Kansas and the typical home earnings is $92,769, according to the city’s site.
