A Northern California pumpkin hobbyist has gained first place on the 46th annual Safeway World Championship Pumpkin Weigh Off, setting a document for the most important in California.

Weigh-off spokesman Timothy Beeman says Urena’s pumpkin is the second largest within the contest’s historical past. A pumpkin from Washington state weighed practically 2,400 kilos and gained in Half Moon Bay in 2017.
