In the trailer for Paul T. Goldman, premieringJan 1 on Peacock, the odd, twisty story of the titular lead character comes to life at the hands of Borat Subsequent Moviefilm director Jason Woliner— who has actually invested over a years shooting the distinctive program.

“I’m a regular guy that got caught up in extraordinary circumstances,” Paul states in the trailer. “This story is as accurate as it is unbelievable. I couldn’t make this up! It happened to me.”

In 2009, Paul composed a book and a movie script about the strange dissolution of his marital relationship and, in turn, his objective to lower a supposed worldwide criminal offense ring.

Very regular things.

A couple of years later on, he got in touch with Jason on Twitter and asked him for his aid in turning his movie script into truth. Jason, who calls Paul “the most captivating person I’ve ever encountered,” ultimately concurred.
