On Saturday,Oct 9, the 33- year-old vocalist made a surprise look on Instagram Live to respond to some fans’ concerns, throughout which she played a brand-new bit of the very first single, “Easy on Me,” from her expected brand-new album, which she said was based upon “divorce, babe, divorce.”
Resting her hand under her chin, Adele gradually moved her head, closed her eyes and offered a little smile to the cam as the ballad played.
Lyrics consist of, “There ain’t no gold in this river /Â That I’ve been washing my hands in forever /Â I know there is hope in these waters /Â But I can’t bring myself to swim /Â When I am drowning in this silence / Baby, let me in.”
“That’s it. That’s all I’m going to play,” Adele stated, as she stopped the music. “Oh, my phone’s already buzzing, I’m gonna get in trouble.”
