ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN looks set to leave Arsenal with the midfield ace no closer to a new deal.
The Ox is on the Gunners’ pre-season tour Down Under after demanding assurances about his first-team future.
And Sky Sports claim that the chances of the Gunners midfielder penning a new contract are “virtually zero”.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is an admirer – as revealed by SunSport – while Liverpool and Chelsea are also said to be keen.
The Ox was waiting for a new contract offer from the Gunners, but he also wants a regular place in the starting line-up.
The 23-year-old midfielder – who has a year left on his deal – is ready to move after Liverpool and City declared an interest in him.
Despite tentative talks over a new deal, Arsenal have yet to make a formal offer.
Now the Ox wants answers before deciding whether to commit long term to Arsene Wenger’s outfit.
Oxlade-Chamberlain joined Arsenal in 2011 and has gone on to turn out for the club 194 times, including 129 appearances in the Premier League.
