Jack Ma, co-founder of e-commerce giant Alibaba, is contributing countless coronavirus test sets and deal with masks to the United States, Europe and Africa.

On Friday in a declaration shared on Twitter, the Chinese billionaire stated the Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation would contribute 500,000 test sets and 1 million face masks to the United States. Alibaba Group validated the contribution to CNET. 

On Sunday, Ma signed up with Twitter and tweeted a picture of the “first shipment” of face masks and test sets, stating it was removing from Shanghai. It’s uncertain who is getting or dispersing them.

An absence of test sets has up until now avoided the United States from evaluating the complete level of the infection’ spread.  

On Monday, the Jack Ma Foundation likewise revealed contributions to Europe and Africa.
