Amazon is apparently thinking about the launch of UK insurance coverage cost contrast site.
The United States e-commerce giant is asking European insurance provider if they ‘d provide their items on such a website, Reuter reports, mentioning 3 confidential market executives.
The executives informed the news company that the talks were numerous conversations Amazon is having with insurance companies, which there are no instant launch strategies.
Amazon decreased to talk about the report.
Home and motor insurance plan are popular on the UK’s present cost contrast websites, such as comparethemarket.com, Reuters notes. Amazon’s entryway into this market would likely produce a considerable difficulty for them, considering its reach and resources.
On Wednesday, it was reported that Amazon is wanting to acquire United States cinema chain Landmark Theatres, in an effort to broaden its home entertainment offerings.
