After she was implicated of teasing Tom Holland and his current video sharing his choice to take a break from social networks for his psychological health, the comic made it clear she wasn’t minimizing him or his post.
“Not shading Spider-Man,” she composed on Instagram StoriesAug 16. “Making fun of myself. Of course social media is toxic!”
Holland shared his video to InstagramAug 13– noting he made a “very brief” go back to the platform to shed some light on stem4, a not-for-profit that supports teenage psychological health.
“I have taken a break from social media for my mental health because I find Instagram and Twitter to be overstimulating—to be overwhelming,” the Spider-Man: No Way Home star stated. “I get caught up and I spiral when I read things about me online. And ultimately, it’s very detrimental to my mental state. So, I decided to take a step back and delete the app.”
