Season 2 of the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That … is underway, however prior to it strikes our little screens (and the streets of New York for production) series developer Michael Patrick King exposed where separated buddies Carrie Bradshaw and Samantha Jones stand.
In season one, Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Samantha (Kim Cattrall), who now resides in London, shared text exchanges with another. So will the set still be texting? According to King, “Yes!”
While Cattrall did not repeat her function as the amusing and promiscuous public relations expert, the authors had the ability to keep her character in the program throughout the abovementioned messages.
During the ending of season one, while spreading outMr Big’s (Chris Noth) ashes abroad, Carrie texts Samantha, “I’m in Paris. Want to meet for a cocktail?” In which Samantha reacts, “How’s tomorrow night?”
