Over the weekend, Billy Eichner discovered a clickbait post with the heading, “New Celebrity Relationships That Made Us Feel Better About 2021.” While the post sounds charming, there’s simply one issue: The post included a picture of the Bros star positioning beside Anna Kendrick, insinuating that they’re a couple.
So what’s a comic going to do about it? Poke enjoyable at the speculation naturally, and perhaps shoutout his approaching motion picture.
“Um,” he composed on Twitter with a screenshot of the post. “Hey @AnnaKendrick47— felines out of the bag!! Guys I understand this is actually bad timing with all the Bros things however …I’m directly.”
Anna likewise saw the post and chimed in, adding, “We can finally live our truth Billy! You’ve felt so pressured to seem like a gay man that you made #BrosMovie but you’re free now! Our love can flourish!”
If that wasn’t amusing enough, Mariah Carey saw the small talk and talked about Instagram with the happiness emoji.
