Red Devils could bring in two ‘killer’ strikers in an attempt to bolster their attack
MANCHESTER UNITED will press ahead with plans to bring in a “killer” striker this summer with Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann and Everton’s Romelu Lukaku topping the list.
Jose Mourinho has drawn up a list of frontmen he wants after bemoaning his side’s lack of cutting edge this season.
And despite the promising Marcus Rashford demonstrating his abilities against Chelsea, the Red Devils chief is determined to add to his firepower.

The 19-year-old forward was excellent as he led the line against the Premier League leaders, bagging himself a goal in the 2-0 victory.
But with Wayne Rooney set to depart Old Trafford, 35-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic still to commit himself to another year at United, and Anthony Martial’s disappointing campaign, Mourinho could even be in for TWO strikers, according to the Daily Mail.
The Portuguese always knew this season would be a difficult one for Rashford following his phenomenal breakthrough last year.
However, he remains confident that the England international will continue to improve over the course of the next 12 months.
Rashford has still managed to find the net nine times, despite mostly playing wide to accommodate Ibrahimovic, scorer of 28.
And a big advantage to persuading the Swede to stick around would be the impact he would have on Rashford’s development.
The two talk regularly during training, with Rashford benefiting from learning from one of the best striker’s in the game.
And United team-mate Matteo Darmian believes that the teen will one day emulate Ibrahimovic’s status.
He said: “With his quality, he can be one of the top players, one of the most important players, in the world.
“I think he is very good in every part of the game. He has a very good shot, movement, speed.”
Ashley Young, who captained United against Chelsea, echoed those sentiments, saying: “He has a massive future in front of him not only for Manchester United but for England as well.
“I’ve said it all along that when he was coming through the youth team and reserves you could see there was something special about him.
“He plays the game with hunger and comes naturally to him. I don’t think there are many defenders who can live with him.”
Mourinho is also plotting a move for Borussia Dortmund’s 19-year-old Ousmane Dembele.
