“Due to current COVID-19 conditions in some of the communities we serve, we are temporarily closing stores in these areas,” stated an Apple representative. “We take this action with an abundance of care as we carefully keep an eye on the scenario, and we eagerly anticipate having our groups and consumers back as quickly as possible.

The relocation comes as COVID-19 cases continue to rise in the south, with the overall variety of cases in Florida sitting at 114,018 since June 25. That’s a boost of more than 5,000 cases from the day previously.

Last week, Apple closed other Apple Store areas, in Arizona, North Carolina and South Carolina, along with other shops in Florida. On Wednesday, the business closed 7 Apple Stores in the Houston location. Last month, Apple closed shops throughout the United States throughout the extensive demonstrations that followed the killing of George Floyd.
