Moneyball author Michael Lewis is grieving the awful loss of his 19-year-old child, Dixie Lewis.
The teenager and 20-year-old Ross Schulz passed away in an automobile mishap that happened Tuesday, May 25, in Truckee, Calif., her household verified to the San Francisco Chronicle and Berkeleyside.
“We loved her so much and are in a kind of pain none of us has experienced,” Lewis stated in a declaration. “She liked Ross, with whom she passed away. She liked to live and our hearts are so damaged they can’t discover the words to explain the sensation. Her mom, Tabitha, and I, and her sibling Walker and sis Quinn are going to discover methods for her memory to reside in her lack.”
According to a California Highway Patrol accident report acquired by E! News, Ross was driving northbound on State Route 89 when his 2014 Ford Fusion got in the southbound lane and struck a Freightliner semi truck head on. Both Ross and Dixie, who was riding guest, were noticable dead at the scene.
The chauffeur of the semi-truck, recognized by CHP as a 45-year-old male, suffered small injuries.
