Brazilian star has the faces of his mum and sister and his dad’s eyes on his upper right arm
NEYMAR revealed a new tattoo after scoring a stunning hat-trick for Barcelona on Sunday night.
The Brazilian sent kept Barca’s slim chances of winning the La Liga title alive with a brilliant solo performance against Las Palmas.
And in celebrating during the 4-1 win – Neymar revealed he has a tattoo of his mum’s face on his bicep.
The Brazilian, 25, is covered in ink and family is a common theme for the forward.
Neymar also has the face of his sister, Rafaella, on the other side of his upper right arm – while he has his dad’s eyes on the same sleeve.
The family-loving forward has numerous nods to his nearest and dearest, including the face of his son, Davi Lucca.
Other tattoos include the phrase ‘life is a joke’ on his left arm and a prayer on his chest for his dad.
He and three friends all share a fist-bump tattoo and there is a crown on his ring finger, “for when I get married.”
Other notable tattoos include the Roman numeral ‘IV’ for the four members of his family – his parents, him and his sister.
The family theme continues with Rafaella’s name on his wrist, as well as a two sided tattoo on his forearm.
Read one way it reads ‘family’ and upside down it says ‘forever’.
Neymar also has a massive tattoo on his calf to remind him of where he come from. It is a small boy holding a football with an industrial scene in the background.
Tattooist Miguel Bohigues explained: “It is a young Neymar remembering his origins, the place where he came from.”
Neymar also has numerous biblical references and verses tattooed around his body.
The forward scored a brilliant hat-trick to send Luis Enrique’s men level on points with rivals Real Madrid.
But Los Blancos are in the driving seat, with a game in hand.
Zinedine Zidane’s men travel to Celta Vigo on Wednesday before their final match of the season at Celta Vigo on Sunday.
Barcelona are at home to Eibar on Sunday.
Neymar has struggled in comparison to his usual lofty standards, having his worst season since arriving at the club in 2013.
The forward has 19 goals and 20 assists – good by most standards – this season but that is a significant drop off from the last two campaigns.
Last year he scored 31 goals with 20 assists and the season before he had 39 goals and seven assists.
Barcelona could finish the season trophyless, although they still have the final of the Copa del Rey.
