A beluga whale has been noticed within the River Thames, surprising onlookers in South East England.

Ecologist and ornithologist Dave Andrews posted a video to Twitter expressing his shock that the mammal, recognized for dwelling within the Arctic and sub-Arctic, was swimming within the river close to Kent.
