Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders has responded to a latest profile revealed in Politico Journal, calling it “anti-Semitic.”
Throughout an interview with The Younger Turks, the article was introduced up in a dialogue about mainstream media bias towards Sanders. The profile featured a photograph of Sanders photoshopped subsequent to a tree with $100 payments for leaves, and referenced the previous Vermont Senator’s “wealth” whereas referring to him as “low cost.”
“Name that what it’s,” Sanders informed host Cenk Uygur. “It’s an anti-Semitic article.” The profile was broadly criticized by Sanders’s camp and by Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Twitter.
“Can @politico clarify to us how photoshopping cash timber subsequent to the one Jewish candidate for president and speaking about how “low cost” and wealthy he’s *isn’t* antisemitic?” she requested. “Or are they simply letting this occur as a result of he’s a progressive politician they don’t like?”

In his interview, Sanders stated he feels his progressive views make him a goal for some within the mainstream media.
“I feel they reside in a sure world,” he stated. “It’s a world of contained in the beltway pundits, it’s a world that has not a clue about what working individuals and lower-income persons are experiencing.

“In truth, actually don’t care about working individuals and lower-income individuals. It’s a world which utterly missed what Donald Trump’s marketing campaign was about, and misses, in truth, what we are attempting to do, and what we’ll do.”
Sanders trails former Vice President Joe Biden within the Democratic race 35 p.c to 17 p.c, in line with a latest Fox Information ballot.
