Battling Brit totally convinced GGG and Alvarez will not resist chance to rob him of WBO middleweight crown
BILLY JOE SAUNDERS reckons that Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez WILL give in to the temptation and fight him.
Brit Saunders claims he has what the winner of the clash between Golovkin and Alvarez will want by the end of the year — his WBO title.
And they will not be able to resist trying to take it off him.

Saunders, 27, defends his middleweight crown at London’s Copper Box Arena on July 8 against Avtandil Khurtsidze.
Victory will move him closer to a unification bout against GGG or Alvarez, who face each other in September with the WBA ‘super’, IBF, IBO and WBC titles on the line.

Saunders has been chasing a showdown with Golovkin for the best part of two years.
He said: “My goal is to fight Gennady Golovkin or Canelo Alvarez by the end of the year so that I can test myself to the absolute max against the best.
“I don’t need to be told that either of those fights will happen because logic says I will fight one or the other.
“The only title they don’t have is mine — the WBO — so I am sure those fights can be made.
“This is because, if I was in their position, I know who I would be chasing.
“If they want to completely unify the division, they won’t be able to resist the temptation of what I have to offer as WBO champion of the world.
“They will not be able to say no.”
First, Saunders has to make his second title defence — this time against Khurtsidze.
And he is confident the Georgian puncher will not be able to bridge the gap.
He added: “He’s 38 and I’m 27, an 11-year age gap.
“He does not have a chance. I’m going to punish him and make him grovel. His corner are going to be waving that white flag at the referee because they will want it stopped because of the punishment he is taking.
“They will get him hurt bad if they do not wave that white flag.
“If I can’t beat him I may as well give up trying to fight Golovkin. I have a seven-year-old son who can box better than him.
“Khurtsidze is a very strong fighter and a good puncher but he doesn’t even have a basic jab.
“I am WBO world middleweight champion. If I can’t beat a fighter who does not have a jab, then I don’t deserve to be in boxing.”
Khurtsidze is nicknamed ‘Mini Mike Tyson’ but Saunders says the name is only as far as any likeness goes, despite a record of 33 wins, two losses and two draws.
He added: “Khurtsidze has a good record but he is no Mike Tyson. He is what he is, a little, bald, come-forward fighter with plenty of muscle, but that’s about it.
“If you took away Khurtsidze’s muscles he would probably be a featherweight. I’m not thinking I only have to turn up, jump in the ring and whack him — because I know that is not the case.
“I also know he will be chasing shadows after three or four rounds. When I step on the gas, he will start blowing through his backside.”
Saunders admits he cut corners before his last fight against Artur Akavov and was not at his best but still managed to retain his title with a unanimous decision.
He admitted: “I let myself go before my last fight. I did not put in enough work.
“I’ve been different this time, I know I have to be on top of my game. When I have to turn it on, I will turn it on.
“Whatever I need to do to win, I’ll do it.”
