Amid the huge success of the brand-new Netflix series, which follows the romance of Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and Duke of Hastings Simon Bassett (Regé-Jean Page), the program’s developer Chris Van Dusen is teasing the number of seasons are still to come. As fans might understand, the series is based upon author Julia Quinn‘s cherished books about the 8 Bridgerton brother or sisters. So, does that mean there will be 8 overall seasons?
“I feel like the first season was primarily about Daphne and her love story with Simon. But, this being a family of eight children and there being eight books, I would love to be able to focus and really tell stories and love stories for all the Bridgerton siblings,” Van Dusen informed Collider. “For each character, for sure.”
When asked particularly if he’d desire 8 seasons, Van Dusen verified, “I would love that. In success, I would love that.”
