Shamima Begum, a young person who left London when she was aged 15 to hitch Islamic State in Syria, has had her British citizenship revoked, in keeping with a letter despatched to her household printed by ITV Information on Tuesday.
Begum, who gave delivery to a son on the weekend, was found in a refugee camp in Syria by a London Instances journalist earlier this month. Now aged 19, she has advised reporters she desires to return to Britain.

The letter addressed to Begum’s mom stated: “Please discover enclosed papers that relate to a choice taken by the Dwelling Secretary, to deprive your daughter, Shamima Begum, of her British citizenship.
