Border safety officers in Australia can have fun Christmas in July after a weird drug bust in Sydney.
The Australian Border Pressure (ABF) has recognized 15 snow globes stuffed with liquid methamphetamine in a cargo from Canada, officers introduced on Tuesday.
The snow globes have been getting used to smuggle a complete of seven.5 litres of meth price practically $1 million, in line with an announcement launched by the ABF.
Authorities say they recognized the meth by X-rays and additional examination of the package deal, which was shipped on consignment from Canada. They didn’t point out the place the package deal originated from in Canada.
“Our officers work tirelessly to forestall these dangerous medication type making it into Australian communities, and I’m happy with the outcomes they proceed to realize,” Danielle Yannopoulos, the ABF’s regional commander for New South Wales, mentioned within the assertion.
