CNN anchor Jake Tapper slammed President Trump over the telephone dialog he had with Russian President Vladimir Putin this week, telling a panel that Trump shares Putin’s perspective as if he is “the spokesman for the Kremlin.”
Throughout their wide-ranging hourlong dialog, each leaders mentioned the continued disaster in Venezuela, tensions with North Korea, commerce negotiations, and the Mueller Report, which Trump known as a “Russian hoax” on Twitter.
Trump informed reporters that Putin is “not all to get entangled” in Venezuela, which contradicts Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Nationwide Safety Adviser John Bolton, who’ve stated Russia has been propping up Venezuelan President Nicholás Maduro.

“We have finished tales on this present about how there are Russian troops in Venezuela proper now!” Tapper exclaimed. “Simply to be clear, this isn’t the president saying, ‘Properly, that is what Putin claims.’ He’s giving Putin’s standpoint nearly as if he’s the spokesman for the Kremlin. ‘He’s not trying to get entangled in Venezuela.’ There are Russian troops in Venezuela!”
