‘Come on, grandpa’: Florida police officer heckles slow ‘pedestrian’ – National

A police officer in Florida couldn’t imagine the nerve of the “pedestrian” — a tortoise — slowing him all the way down to a turtle’s tempo on the street whereas he was in his patrol car this previous Sunday.

Video posted by deputy sheriff Bryan Bowman on Fb reveals him speaking to his cellphone, clearly impatient about being slowed down on the street.

“He’s actually going one mile per hour in a 30 mile per hour zone,” he stated. “Man’s simply 100, he shouldn’t be out on the roadways to start with. I attempted to speak to him and he snapped at me.

“I don’t know what this man’s deal is.”

Bowman then switches the digital camera to indicate what was slowing him down: a tortoise, slowly making its means down the center of the lane because the officer adopted very slowly behind.

Bowman continued his rant concerning the tortoise, as his car moved agonizingly slowly.

“Come on, grandpa, I acquired locations to be,” he stated. “Everybody needs to drive gradual with a cop automotive behind them. Can’t get nowhere on time.”
