CONOR McGREGOR is back in training for a return to UFC – and shot down talks of a second boxing fight of a WWE debut.
McGregor confirmed on a trip with his girlfriend Dee Devlin in New York that after much speculation he will not be facing boxing legend Manny Pacquiao next, instead opting for a return to MMA.
Recently it was revealed by eight division champion Pacquiao that he was in talks with the UFC lightweight champ about a possible fight.
Pacquiao said: “If we can negotiate it, I have no problem. It is OK with both of us.
“[Talks?] Initially, but we have not yet had any follow-up conversations.”
UFC president Dana White responded to the claim by Pacquiao saying that if the Filipino boxing legend had contacted his fighter he would “sue him”.
White said: “That would be weird because he’s (McGregor) under contract with us,” said White.
“If that’s true, I will be suing Manny Pacquiao and whoever’s representing him. So, I’m assuming that’s not true.”

White recently said that McGregor will not be fighting in a boxing ring again saying how his scrap with Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather in August was just a one off fight.
The UFC president said: “He’s not boxing anyone so calm down cry babies.”
