CONOR McGREGOR has had a sly dig at Floyd Mayweather as he claimed knowing just boxing was “very limited”.
The UFC lightweight champ looks set to take on the undefeated American in the square cirlce in a money-spinning mega-fight later this year.
And McGregor – who is showing off his training in the post – hinted that he has the upper hand as Mayweather has only ever trained in one style of fighting.

McGregor said via his Instagram: “Myself and @sbgcharlestown [SBG Charlestown Gym] have been working together on unrestricted, unarmed fighting, since we are kid.
“Not much will change when I fight under the famed, yet very limited, Queensbury rules.
“No disrespect to single discipline fighters, from boxing to kicking to grappling, just know that understanding one style of fighting is simply not enough.
“You are lying to yourself.
“You are easily dismantled in a true fight. A fight with no rules to protect you.
“In a straight fight, you do not possess enough tools to keep you alive. You will be dismantled and killed.
“Like the late, great Bruce Lee once said: ‘When you are talking about fighting, as it is, with no rules, well then baby, you’d better train every part of your body.’”

As the super fight draws closer by the day, McGregor’s striking coach Owen Roddy says they have started training already – but a deal is not done yet.
Roddy told The Mac Life: “We did a little bit a week or two ago, but training officially starts hard now when I get back on Tuesday.
“I was talking to Conor over the weekend and we’re getting going.
“I don’t think it’s officially signed yet, but it will be soon enough and it’s going to be an exciting one.
“Floyd Mayweather, he’s very hard to hit and that’s going to be the challenge.
“But at the end of the day, Conor only needs to land once and I’ve said this in every interview.
“He only needs to land once and he’s got more time now he’s got 30 minutes now in there to land once.
“You can’t go against those odds, and anyone he lands on, they fall asleep so that’s what I believe is going to happen.”
