IRISHMAN’S highly anticipated bout with Floyd Mayweather has hit the rocks

CONOR MCGREGOR rejected three lucrative movie roles to concentrate on his stunning UFC career.

The Irishman was asked if he wanted to team up with Hollywood actor Vin Diesel in this year’s film “xXx: Return of Xander Cage”.

The part eventually went to UFC star Michael Bisping before McGregor then turned down a role in the upcoming film “Predators”.

And finally the reigning lightweight champion rejected a chance to star in “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword”.

Director Guy Ritchie revealed to the Irish Sun: “Preparing for the action scenes [in King Arthur], we watched a lot of McGregor fight footage because his style was what we were after.

“We even went after him for a part of the movie but he wasn’t having any of it.”

Dana White has said he will “definitely walk away” from negotiations between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor

UFC president Dana White admitted he is “going to walk away” after admitting “nightmare” negotiations between the two have gone nowhere.

He said: “It’s definitely both sides of this thing. Both sides are gonna be hard to get done.

“And absolutely, there’s going to be a point where I’m done. This isn’t what I do, this isn’t my business, and I’m definitely going to walk away.

“I knew that this thing was going to be a nightmare to get done – if it can even be done.”
