This is the minute a naughty young elephant knee moves down a muddy slope in a Chinese rain forest.
The calf was recorded having a good time at the Xishuangbanna Wild Elephant Valley Tropical Rain Forest Scenic Area, in the southern province of Yunnan.
The child, called Yishuang, is the 5th elephant born at the park’s reproducing centre and was out doing ‘field training’ with personnel when she went with a little slide down the hill.
Her strategy includes flexing her back legs and relatively trying to get her front legs as muddy as possible.
Footage reveals the young calf pointing her body downhill and guiding herself along the dirt track. Â
Now 3 years of ages, Yishuang manoeuvres her weight through the course and off into some undergrowth, where she appears to come to a managed – however most likely rather mucky – stop.
A park representative stated the calf was born in December 2017 and is establishing well.
According to the representative, elephants typically live for in between 60 and 70 years – making young Yishuang the equivalent of a ‘naughty pre-schooler’.
Various individuals required to social networks to reveal their love for the video footage.
Xiaoyu stated: ‘The elephant is way too cute! Young elephants are similar to human kids!’
Netizen ‘Lianliankan’ commented: ‘Lovely!’
