Footage reveals the stunning minute a mad kangaroo kicks and punches an unwary papa to the ground in Australia.

The animal was digging holes in the front garden of Mitchell Robinson’s home at South West Rocks in New South Wales on Christmas Day.

So Mitchell chose to try to move the big kangaroo on while safeguarding his kids from it, MailOnline reports.

But rather the substantial male marsupial formed up to the papa prior to hopping towards him and intensely assaulting him.

In the video the kangaroo can be seen striking the victim with his paw and after that kicking him to the ground.

‘It was just staring at him and he picked up something to try and shoo it away and as soon as he did that you could just see that it was going to go at him,’ household pal Tina Grace Rowe informed 7News.

‘He was massive. He was a big male kangaroo with a big chest.’

But regrettably Mitchell was currently at a drawback due to the fact that he currently had a damaged arm.

The papa did not suffer any major injuries in the attack.

It comes as residents declare kangaroos are ending up being a huge issue in the South West Rocks location.

Due to the summertime bushfire crisis more kangaroos are obviously taking a trip even more into the residential areas searching for greener yard and food.

Experts have actually cautioned it is best to leave kangaroos alone, otherwise they might trigger major damage.

‘They have huge claws on their front hands that they will use to hold on with and then their back legs are all power for kicking, so they are covered with weapons,’ zookeeper Chad Staples, from Featherdale Wildlife Park, stated.
