Aussie team locked in talks with Cricket Australia over pay dispute that could threaten iconic series against England
ENGLAND’s Ashes tour of Australia is in doubt after a pay dispute down under, according to David Warner.
The Australian men’s and women’s national teams were offered salary increases in March but the players no longer receive a percentage of the board’s revenue.
The offer was rejected and Cricket Australia has threatened to stop payments after June 30.

And Australian vice-captain Warner told The Age: “If it gets to the extreme, they might not have a team for the Ashes.
“We won’t buckle at all, we are standing together and very strong, and as you can see from all the people that have spoken so far, we are all on the same wavelength.

If the pay dispute is not resolved, it’s uncertain what team Australia could field for matches after June 30.
Australia are scheduled to play two Tests against Bangladesh in August before the Ashes begin on November 23.
