The Democratic Nationwide Committee has picked Milwaukee to host its 2020 nationwide conference — opting to shine the highlight on a state Hillary Clinton famously prevented in 2016.
In a nod to town’s working-class roots and Midwestern values over the glitz and glamor of rival bidders, DNC Chairman Tom Perez introduced Monday that the get together had chosen the Wisconsin hub over Miami and Houston — marking the primary time in additional than 100 years Democrats will collect in a Midwest metropolis apart from Chicago to appoint their presidential candidate.
