Ryan Gosling has us weeping yet once again. But this time, we’re shedding tears over a function he didn’t play.
Atlanta developer and star Donald Glover just recently let it slip that the Notebook star practically starred in an episode of the critically-acclaimed program.
“He said he was a big fan, but he had something else, and it just didn’t work out,” Glover informed press reporters at Atlanta‘s season 3 red carpet best. “I was so bummed because the part was so great for him!”
Even though Gosling’s look failed, fans are still thankful to see brand-new episodes of Atlanta After all, it’s been almost 4 years considering that Earn (Glover), Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry), Darius (Lakeith Stanfield) and Van (Zazie Beetz) were on our television screens.
The cast was preparing to shoot the 3rd season when the coronavirus pandemic began, pressing the shoot back almost 2 years. But the forced hiatus was a true blessing in camouflage, with Henry informing The Hollywood Reporter, “I feel like we needed that time, all of us individually, to figure out where we are, to figure out what this newfound fame and life was for us so we could come back in a clearer way.”
