American president is trying to get the summer Games to the Californian city for the first time since 1984
DONALD TRUMP has revealed he is working hard to get the 2024 Olympics in Los Angeles.
The President of the USA tweeted an update on his quest to bring the athletics showcase to the California city.
LA and Paris are both in the running to host the Games in six years time but the French look like the favourites.
But Trump seems set on bringing the summer games to the other side of The Pond.
He tweeted: “Working hard to get the Olympics for the United States (L.A.). Stay tuned!”

LA could be given the consolation prize of being awarded the 2028 games following presentations today.
If Paris are successful in their bid for the 2024 Games, it will be 100 years since the French capital has hosted the event in 1924.

LA last hosted the summer spectacle back in 1984 but Mayor Eric Garcetti is confident they will be given the green light for 2024.
Garcetti said: “(This team) has presented I think the strongest bid in modern Olympic history.”
The idea of awarding the host city for both games at the same time has been discussed in recent months.
LA 2024 chairman Casey Wasserman confessed he had not pushed the International Olympic Committee for an answer.
He said: “We could have used that strategy, but we didn’t because we thought it was presumptuous to tell the [International Olympic Committee] what to do and how to think.
“We’re better partners than that. … That may be a surprising statement for an American bid; but, it shouldn’t be because America’s support for the Games has never wavered—ever.”
