A giant-game hunter is being criticized by celebrities on social media for her “disgusting” act of killing a leopard.
A picture of the unidentified lady, identified solely as Britany, holding up the carcass of the massive animal was shared on the Safari Membership Worldwide (SCI) web site on Sept. 7 for being a “file” kill.
SCI is an Arizona-based group that protects hunters’ rights and promotes wildlife conservation, in keeping with the web site.

The picture went viral after David Bonnouvrier, co-founder of “Knot on my Planet” – a corporation that works to finish elephant ivory poaching – shared it on his Instagram account Friday.
“A really giant male Leopard not too long ago killed by [the woman identified as Britany] of the safari membership worldwide based mostly in Tucson AZ name them and provides them a chunk of your thoughts,” Bonnouvrier wrote.
His picture was shared by others on social media, together with big-name celebrities like Naomi Campbell, Doutzen Kroes and Kyle Richards, expressing their disapproval of Brittany’s interest.
“How will you discover delight and pleasure in killing a fantastic animal like this massive male Leopard. The lady within the image needs to be ashamed of herself! I discover this disgusting and I’m so upset, unhappy and indignant that this nonetheless occurs!!” Kroes wrote.

“I do know that is upsetting to see but when we don’t communicate up this may by no means cease,” Richards wrote.
This isn’t the primary time a hunter has been publicly shamed. Former NHL participant Tim Brent obtained loss of life threats and abusive feedback on-line after sharing photographs and boasting a couple of grizzly bear he hunted final week.
