In a brand-new interview with Gay Times, the previous Disney Channel star shared that she was concerned individuals would not think her if she came out as queer. However, upon dealing with a circumstance in which she was implicated of “queerbaiting,” she chose it was time to openly acknowledge her sexuality. The TELEVISION star, who just recently appeared in a since-scrapped live action pilot of The Powerpuff Girls, opened about her sexuality on an Instagram Live in 2015.
“I’ve hinted about my sexuality for years while being afraid to spell it out for everybody,” she discussed. “I did a lyric video last year, for ‘We Belong.’ It had moving line drawings of people falling in love…It was all a man and a woman making out and it was a weird moment for me.”
She stated she asked the manufacturers to include numbers of various orientations.
