In 2019, the rap artist was acquitted of felony murder and tried murder charges after a hung jury. Prosecutors attempted to retry him on conspiracy charges associated with the killing, declaring that Drakeo bore obligation as a gang member, even if he didn’t shoot, Rolling Stone reported. In November 2020, Drakeo was launched with time served after consenting to plead guilty to shooting from an automobile with a gang improvement, the publication stated. According to the outlet, the star kept his innocence and likewise rejected being part of a gang.
