CONOR BENN will make his American debut on November 11 after Eddie Hearn revealed he will fighting on Daniel Jacobs’ undercard.
The 21-year-old dazzled on Saturday night as he showed his destructive punch power by knocking out Cheshire’s Nathan Clarke in just one round.
He improved his record to 9-0 – with seven wins coming by way of KO – and now looks to impress on foreign shores in New York next month on a Matchroom Boxing USA show.
Speaking after his emphatic victory, promoter Hearn revealed it will be hard holding the welterweight back as he begins to creep out the shadow of his legendary father, two-time world champion Nigel Benn.
He told Sky Sports: “It was another great performance from him tonight and he’s doing the basics well now.
“It’s going to be very hard to hold him back now.
“Conor will be the first one of our UK boys to box on a Matchroom Boxing USA show (on) November 11.
“He’ll be the first of many Matchroom boys to be boxing Stateside and it’s going to be a great experience for him.”
Benn has already fought three times since July, and he will be high on the undercard as Daniel Jacobs faces unbeaten middleweight Luis Arias.
Jacobs – a former WBA world champ – was the first man to take fearsome fighter Gennady Golovkin to 12 rounds back in March, but suffered an agonising unanimous decision.

It was only the second time the ‘Miracle Man’ tasted defeat, and a win against his 18-0 opponent will elevate him back in to world title contention.
He is the first American to be signed by Eddie Hearn, and has penned a multi-fight deal as Matchroom has ventured into America.
Speaking of joining Hearn, Jacobs said: “I’m truly excited to be joining Matchroom Boxing and HBO.
“This is a new beginning for my career and I get a chance to showcase my skills to the world. I can’t wait to return to the ring in November, being active and recapturing the world middleweight title.”
