SOUTH DAYTONA, Fla. – Authorities say the home windows of a county Republican Occasion workplace in Florida have been shot at over the weekend.
The capturing comes days after outstanding Democrats have been despatched pipe bombs within the mail.
Capt. Mark Cheatham of the South Daytona Police Division says 4 pictures have been fired on the workplace of the Republican Government Committee of Volusia County.
County GOP Chairman Tony Ledbetter says the capturing occurred someday after staffers left the workplace Sunday afternoon and earlier than they returned Monday morning.
No one was inside when the capturing happened.
Cheatham says the capturing is being investigated as vandalism till detectives set up a motive.
Ledbetter says it gave the impression to be by a drive-by shooter. A window was shot out and one other had a bullet gap in it.
