Evan Rachel Wood will not be silenced.

During her look on The View on Monday, March 14, the Westworld star resolved the disparagement suit her ex-fiancé Marilyn Manson just recently submitted versus her after being implicated of sexual assault by various ladies. Though Wood stated she’s “not scared” of the fit, she explained the scenario as “sad” since “this is what pretty much every survivor that that it tries to expose someone in a position of power goes through.”

Sharing that an effort to silence her “was expected,” Wood continued, “This is part of the retaliation that keeps survivors quiet. This is why people don’t want to come forward.”

The 34- year-old starlet included, “I’m very confident that I have the truth on my side and that and that the truth will come out.”

Manson’s suit came simply weeks prior to the set up release of Phoenix Rising, an HBO docu-series focused around the the starlet’ operate in promoting for the passage of the Phoenix Act inCalifornia In the documentary, which initially premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January, Wood discussed the supposed sexual assault she dealt with at the hands of Manson– born Brian Warner— throughout their relationship.
