It is the first time a UFC champion will cross the divide into the world of boxing as McGregor looks for a tactic that will topple the American boxer.

And ahead of the richest fight in history, Klitschko thinks the scrap will live long in the memory whilst comparing McGregor to a character out of the famous movie Fight Club.

He told DAZN: “We’ll forget about 90 percent or more of all the things they are talking about in the next year or two.

“But the image will stay in your head, forever. McGregor’s image speaks for itself.

“I think he is a pretty wild guy. He reminds me of the guys in the movie Fight Club, with Brad Pitt.”

The film, which was nominated for an Oscar, features two main characters who brutally put their life on the line in the murky world of underground boxing.
