A Taco Bell worker in Florida who refused to serve a lady within the drive-thru line as a result of she wouldn’t communicate Spanish has been fired.

The incident came about Wednesday night time in Hialeah, a predominantly Spanish-speaking city, when Alexandria Montgomery tried to put an order in English, the Miami Herald studies.

In it, Montgomery may be heard asking for a supervisor, however the worker says in Spanish that she is “in her home sleeping” and there’s no one accessible to take her order, in line with the Herald.
