Unbeaten American could only be recognised by the glittering name spelled out on the back of his gown
FLOYD MAYWEATHER made his spectacular return to the ring wearing a bizarre ski mask.
The unbeaten American takes on Conor McGregor tonight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
But were it not for his gown spelling out his name in glittering colours – and the cocky strut fans know him by – you would have struggled to recognise him.
With his entire face covered, and in an unusual black robe covered in zips and pockets, Mayweather walked back into the ring after two years in retirement.
UFC star McGregor, on the other hand, made no efforts to conceal his face as he walked out for his first ever boxing fight proudly sporting an Ireland flag.
Though the Irishman did have a newly shaven head for the historic bout.
McGregor, 29, looked unfazed walking out in front of the 14,000-strong crowd in Sin City.
He even pulled off his trademark strut – arms flailing left and right – upon entering the ring.
