SWEAT IT OUT

The American world champion came back for a third time, lost 2oz to make weight for the world title fight

GERVONTA DAVIS missed the weight TWICE ahead of his clash at the Copper Box Area against Liam Walsh this Saturday.

But it was a case of third-time lucky for the Baltimore boxer, as he came in again, covered by an American flag, and hit dead on 130lbs.

Money, who sensationally won all 49 of his fights as a pro, has tipped Davis to follow in his footsteps.

The 40-year-old – who is set to come out of retirement to fight Conor McGregor – said: “There are a lot of fighters who are World champions who are not as big as Gervonta is.

“He’s connected to me but also he can fight. I would say this, Gervonta is not just the youngest World champion, he’s one of the most exciting fighters in boxing. We know there will be blood, sweat and tears.”
