WILFRIED ZAHA had a face of thunder after he was pictured grabbing a pizza on deadline day.
The Crystal Palace ace was left furious after being priced out of a move to both Arsenal and Everton.
Marco Silva’s Toffees made a last-gasp attempt to land the winger and were even prepared to offer him a staggering £200,000-a-week.
But the Eagles insisted they would only let him leave if they received a whopping £120million offer.
Everton made it clear that £65m in cash plus two players is their limit for Ivory Coast winger Zaha.
He attempted to take matters into his own hands by handing in a transfer request before being sent home from training on Thursday.
So with the day off, he headed to Fire Away Pizza in Croyden to kill the time but not without having a picture with staff before leaving.
And his face told a story of deadline day disappointment after he failed to even conjure up a smile.
Zaha is expected to miss out on Palace’s opening match of the season – ironically against Everton – because he is not in the right frame of mind.
Boss Roy Hodgson admitted that relationship between player and owner Steve Parish is fractured behind the scenes.
He said: “It’s been well documented that he’s wanted to leave but it’s not worked out for him.
“I think everyone here has a good relationship with him, so there’s no problem with that. His beef is with the chairman and owners of the football club.
“He’s staying, absolutely. We’re pleased about that, he’s an important player for the club and we’re looking forward to him doing this year what he’s done for the past two seasons.”
SunSport exclusively revealed how Palace could let him leave in January and Chelsea could make their move if they can overturn their transfer ban.
