Stars at Wentworth paid solemn respects to those killed at Manchester Arena on Monday night
JUSTIN ROSE, Ian Poulter and Ernie Els were among the golfers at the BMW PGA Championship who observed a minute’s silence in tribute to the victims of the Manchester terror attack.
Stars at Wentworth in Surrey paid solemn respects to those killed on Monday night.
Masters runner-up Rose removed his cap and looked at the ground during the emotional moment in his first round.

Ian Poulter, who enjoyed a stunning return to form with his second-place finish at the Players, did likewise.
The English star took off his hat and crossed his hands while remembering those who perished in a bomb blast at the Ariana Grande concert.
And four-time Major winner Els, from South Africa, who was playing with Rose, observed the tribute.
Els stood in the fairway with his putter rested against his leg while bowing his head in thought.
It was a topsy-turvy day for the golfing legend, who eventually signed for a one-under 71 – but only after calling a penalty on himself.
Els appeared to have chipped in for an eagle on the par-five 12th, but instantly realised he had not replaced his ball in the right place after checking to see if it was plugged.
He was assessed a two-shot penalty and said: “I pulled my second shot a bit left and hit it into the bank of the bunker.
“I thought it was plugged, so I asked my guys (playing partners) if I could check it and they said, ‘Yeah’.

“I put it back and I hit my chip shot and I just felt uncomfortable by the way the ball came out. The ball came out way too good so I felt I didn’t quite probably put it exactly where I should have.
“Under the rules you try and put it back the way you think it should be, but I still felt uncomfortable with it, so we took a two-shot penalty. I know deep down the ball wasn’t quite where it should be and I wouldn’t be able to live with myself.”
