Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin have not gone to any of the search giant’s “TGIF” city center conferences for 2019, according to a report Tuesday from BuzzFeed News. The lack, supposedly the longest in the business’s history, comes throughout a tempestuous time concerning problems like office harassment and censorship.

A source at Google informed BuzzFeed that the duo’s lack isn’t an overall surprise. Page and Brin obviously prepared to go back after forming Alphabet in 2015. The relocation was supposedly to offer Google CEO Sundar Pichai a possibility to develop himself as a leader. However, Page and Brin supposedly had actually stayed a staple at conferences, either going to separately or together.

Google didn’t instantly react to an ask for remark.

The business’s city center conferences are a time for staff members to ask concerns of management to promote openness in the office. The conferences generally include a report from management, a group discussion and time for concerns.Â
