A 9-foot nice white shark with a pink hue on its face and underbelly was discovered lifeless on a Massachusetts seaside Thursday, officers stated.
A Massachusetts Environmental Police officer responded to the decision of the shark washed up on the seaside in Truro, authorities stated. The Heart for Coastal Research and the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy assisted police of their investigation.
A necropsy carried out on the shark to find out the way it died revealed the animal had three lead weights inside it, the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy wrote in a Fb submit.
Police didn’t say what killed the shark or how the shark acquired its pink hue. The conservancy stated it washed ashore close to the Pamet River.
