The LGBTQ+ neighborhood simply got a brand-new superhero.
Marvel exposed today that character Peter Quill, referred to as Star-Lord, is bisexual. A brand-new comics launched on Dec. 9, Guardians of the Galaxy No. 9, consists of the story “I Shall Make You a Star-Lord,” which explains Star-Lord’s background and sexual preference, according to Screen Rant.
In the story, Peter Quill (who is represented by Chris Pratt in the Marvel Cinematic Universe) was welcomed by 2 blue humanoids called Aradia and Mors to experience their “togetherness” on earth Morinus, Hypebeast reports.
However, he at first declined their advances and informed them he needed to return house to his partner Gamora, who is played by Zoe Saldana on screen.
Twelve years later on, he obviously had a change of mind. During one scene in the House of Death and Rebirth, Peter took a bath in an unique temple together with Aradia and Mors. The 3 closed in for a hug after Peter informed them, “You’re my home.” Mors responded, “The you-that-was is over.”
