EDEN HAZARD has insisted he “does everything for the Chelsea fans” while starring in an advert for a club partner alongside team-mates Willian and Olivier Giroud.
The Blues forward, 28, was part of Hyundai’s “A Matchday in Europe” campaign, along with the likes of Antoine Griezmann, Memphis Depay, Edin Dzeko and Salomon Kalou.
The advert follows fans from five of Europe’s biggest clubs on their “perfect” matchday experience.
The video has already proven a hit, starring no fewer than 18 of Europe’s biggest names, including Thomas Lemar and Cengiz Under.
And speaking on the campaign, Chelsea star Hazard – tipped for a summer move to Real Madrid – revealed his love for the Blues faithful.
Hazard said: “Personally, when I go onto the pitch I play for the fans.
“As players we are lucky to have the Chelsea fans because they travel everywhere and always show great support.”
The advert follows not only Chelsea, but four other Hyundai-sponsored teams – Roma, Atletico Madrid, Lyon and Hertha Berlin.
And it’s jam-packed with former Premier League stars including Depay and Dzeko – as well as former Chelsea duo Bertrand Traore and Kalou.
On the ad campaign, Hyundai’s marketing director, David Pugh, claimed they wanted to “put fans first”.
Pugh said: “As part of our partnership with Chelsea, we want to put the fans first and at the heart of the action.
“So what better way to demonstrate that than with some of Europe’s biggest stars assisting them on matchday?
“Through our partnership with Chelsea, we’re committed to creating a range of innovative initiatives that enhance fans’ matchday experience, bring ease to their mobility and make football more accessible and enjoyable for them.”
