JACKSON, Miss. – An official with President Donald Trump‘s marketing campaign says they’re cancelling a visit to Mississippi as a result of Hurricane Florence is approaching the southeastern coast of the U.S.
Michael Glassner, Chief Working Officer of Donald J. Trump for President, Inc., introduced the information Monday.

The Trump marketing campaign stated final week that he would maintain a “Make America Nice Once more” rally this Friday in Jackson, and that he would converse there for a Republican senator he has already endorsed.

Cindy Hyde-Smith was appointed to serve quickly when longtime Republican Sen. Thad Cochran resigned in April. She faces three challengers in a nominally nonpartisan November particular election, and the winner will serve the ultimate two years of the six-year time period began by Cochran.
The Mississippi race might be vital as Republicans attempt to keep their slim majority within the Senate.
