Indonesia: 19 dead in fire at bar after gangs brawl with bomb

    At least 19 individuals were eliminated after a club was set on fire in a substantial brawl in Indonesia.

    Rival gangs of youths started assaulting each other with machetes, arrows and bomb at the karaoke club in Sorong, a city in West Papua province.

    One victim was stabbed to death in the early hours prior to the fire broke out, trapping 18 other individuals inside.

    ‘Fights among youths in cities are normal, but that it has caused so many deaths, that is a first,’ authorities representative Adam Erwini informed Metro TELEVISION.

    Detectives released an examination and are stated to be satisfying the leaders of the 2 gangs to comprehend what took place.

    They are penetrating whether the fire was intentionally begun or unexpected.

    However, Sorong authorities chief Ary Nyoto Setiawan stated the dreadful clash was because of a ‘misunderstanding’.

    ‘We called them and mediated them but they continued the clash until late night,’ he included.

    He stated they left clubbers throughout the clash, however firemens later on discovered bodies in among the spaces inside.
