A son of actor Jean-Claude Van Damme has pleaded responsible to disorderly conduct for holding his roommate at knifepoint at their condo in suburban Phoenix.
Nicholas Van Varenberg had a change of plea listening to Wednesday.
He is now scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. three and authorities say Van Varenberg doubtless will get probation.
Tempe police arrested Van Varenberg final September on suspicion of aggravated assault with a lethal weapon, illegal imprisonment, marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police say Van Varenberg grew to become upset at his unidentified roommate for answering the door, grabbed a knife and saved his roommate from leaving the condo.
The 22-year-old Van Varenberg is the youngest son of Van Damme, recognized for his martial arts motion movies of the 1980s and 1990s.
